Touchette Regional Hospital began as a vision of Centreville Township Supervisor, Francis Touchette. Mr. Touchette realized the healthcare needs of area residents were not being met. By July 1958, Centreville Township Hospital officially opened its doors.
On May 1, 1993, Centreville Township Hospital became Touchette Regional Hospital (TRH). At that time, TRH became affiliated with Southern Illinois Healthcare Foundation to create an integrated healthcare delivery system.
TRH is a 105 inpatient bed hospital with 8 Intensive Care beds. TRH continues to bring state-of-the-art technology and care to the communities we serve.
Touchette Regional Hospital offers cardiopulmonary, laboratory, radiology, physical therapy, obstetrical services, an oncology infusion clinic, a 24-hour emergency department and an intensive care unit. We also offer both inpatient and outpatient medical and surgical services.
