Touchette Regional Hospital Celebrates 50 Years of Service

Touchette Regional Hospital Celebrates 50 Years of service with a community picnic held on July 23rd. Our administration, physicians, and staff were excited to celebrate our 50 years with a community picnic for all ages.

Free hot dogs, popcorn, chips, soda, and plenty of water and freezer pops were available for everyone who attended the picnic celebration. There was music and a raffle for adults every five minutes. Each raffle winner received a basket donated by one of our hospital departments. A twelve foot inflatable slide and eight foot bouncer were available in the kids area as well as table games where each child would receive a prize for winning or even just trying in some cases.

The celebration begin with a brief opening ceremony were speakers addressed the crowd of over 700. The speakers for the celebration were Bob Klutts, Hospital CEO; Mike McManus, Hospital COO; Willie Nelson, SIHF Board Chairman; Rich Sauget, Hospital Board Chairman, Ken Hall Jr., Hospital Board Co-Chairman, Marty Crawford, St. Clair County Board Member, and Mark Jackson, Mayor of Centreville.

Our administration, physicians, and staff were excited to celebrate 50 years of service with the community and look forward to 50 more years!
